Safa (sah-fah)
I fell in love with design and HCI playing Barbie games on the computers at my dad’s print shop. The hum of printers harmonized perfectly with the chatter of students and professors to give my virtual adventures a soundtrack. This intersection of information, people, and technology cultivated my passion for developing information systems that contribute to a just society.
I have an interdiscplinary background in Psychology and Informatics (HCI) and I am a product designer based in Seattle (until curating Pinterest boards becomes a viable career). My design work is guided by empathy and human connection.
Currently, I am:
➡️ Web Strategy Intern for WordPlay
➡️ Marketing Consultant @ American Marketing Association National Case Competition for Adobe and Deloitte
➡️ Co-President and Founder of iMuslims, an affinity group @ UW Information School
➡️ Member of PM Association UW
➡️ Making fun and unique totebags @ Serendipitote
